Chlorine is highly hazardous and virulent in nature. Therefore, exceptional precaution is to be taken in areas where Chlorine is stored and handled. Exposure to even low concentration of Chlorine gas for extended periods can cause grave health problems to Plant personnel. Chlorine corrodes costly Plant Machinery resulting in wastage of time and money. Chlorine leak never gets arrested by itself, it only gets worse if not properly corrected in time.

The Chlorine Handling, Storage, Safety, Testing and Monitoring Devices are designed by experienced teams of Engineers to identify, to prevent and to contain most of the hazards related to chlorine usage in any Chlorination Plant. Thus improving safety to men and materials. Also, this facilitates ease of operation, reliability and longevity of the Plant machinery.

TONNER ROLLER SUPPORTS OR TRUNNIONS

Function: To hold the Ton Containers securely in Place and also to facilitate the Positioning of Ton Containers, so that the inbuilt Valves [Gas side and Liquid Side] lie one over the other vertically.
Material of Construction : Body - Cast Iron, Rollers - MS/CI, Bushes - Brass.

LIFTING BEAM WIH ADJUSTABL HOOKS

Function : To facilitate safe Lifting of standard Ton Containers. This holds the Ton Containers securely whilst Hoist and Trolley used to lift, place and position the Ton Containers.

Material of Construction : MS.

HOISTS

Function: To Lift Containers securely. Manual and Electric Hoist are available. Normally, 2 Tons/2.5/3 Tons Chain Hoists with 3mts lift are sufficient.

TROLLEY

Function : To handle / move Containers alongwith the lifting Beam and Hoist and/or Crane type weighscale on Monorail. The Trolley is normally Geared Type. Manual or Electric Trolley is available. Normally, 2 Tons/2.5 Tons Chain Hoists with 3mts lift are sufficient.

CRANE TYPE WEIGHSCALE*

It is fixed alongwith the Lifting Beam and Chain Hoists so that everytime the Container is lifted the weight can be seen / read.

PLATFORM  WEIGHSCALE  WITH  DIAL  INDICATOR*

It is mechanical type weighscale. Ton Containers are placed on appropriately designed Dormant Platforms. The weight readings can be seen on Dial Indicatros.

PLATFORM  WEIGHSCALE  WITH  ELECTRONIC  INDICATOR

It is Electronic Load Cell type weighscale. It shows accurate readings. The weighscale readings can be seen on LED Display at spot or at any remote panel away from the platform. Also, recording of weights with a recorder [optional], provision of low weight [empty] alarms is possible.

CHLORINE CYLINDER EMERGENCY KIT (KIT A) / CHLORINE TON CONTAINER EMERGENCY KIT(KIT B) *

This Emergency kit contains special tools and tackles and step-by-step Instruction Manual to handle any type of leak in Chlorine Containers. [Leaks in Chlorine Valves, Leaks in Container Body]

	Very essential to contain and arrest Major Leaks.
	Should be used by Trained Personnel wearing Self Contained Air Breathing Apparatus or similar Breathing Apparatus with breathing time 30minutes or more.

CHLORINE CYLINDER KEY

This is a specially designed device to Open and Close any Cylinder Valve [IS:3224]. Only this key should be used to open / close to prevent damage to the Cylinder Valve.

ADDITIONAL [AUXILIARY] CYLINDER / TONNER VALVE

This is a specially designed Valve which is connected in series to the existing Cylinder Valve. This valve can be used to Shut-off / Isolate the Cylinder incase the inbuilt Cylinder Valve fails to close or passes. Extremely useful device for safety purpose.

CHLORINE LEAK DETECTOR (CHLORODETECT)

This device senses Chlorine gas leak in ambient air and gives an alarm contact and also contacts for operating Auto Chlorine Gas Leak Absorption System and / or other automatic valves.

	Comes with Single Sensor or Two Sensors

DOUBLE STAGE SELF CONTAINED OPEN CIRCUIT AIR BREATHING APPARATUS

For Heavy toxic Leaks, firefighting, very dusty atmosphere etc., these Self - Contained Air Breathing apparatus are very essential. They are needed for saving precious life and valuable equipments. They are manufactured as per IS: 10245, Part-II. Available in 30 minutes or 45 minutes duration with all Mandatory Test Certificates.

They contain Air Supply Cylinder [IS : 7285], Cylinder Valve [IS : 3224], Pressure Reducing Valve, Air Hoses, Demand valve, Face Mask, Pressure Gauge, Cylinder Strap, Back Plate, Alarm Whistle, and Harness Assembly.

EMERGENCY  EYE  WASH  AND  SHOWER*

Emergency Eyewash and Shower (Hand Operated or Pedal Operated - Combination units) is required to protect eye, face & skin from chlorine contacts / chemical splashes.

A suitably located , properly designed and maintained eye wash or emergency shower is vital to protect eye and the face from chemical splash with large volumes of clean water. The deluge of water dilutes and washes away harmful material, thereby completely eradicating chances of losing vision and burn injuries. Its uninterrupted flow of smooth gushing water through automiser is one of the few reasons why it is being chosen in industry.

It is ISI marked and conforms to IS : 10592, ANSI Z 358.1 DIN - 12899

Emergency Eyewash and Shower comes in highly visible yellow ABS anti-corrosive plastic or Stainless Steel SS 304 Grade.

GAS MASK WITH CANISTER*

The Gas Mask with Canister [also called as Gas Mask Respirator] is designed to enable the wearer to breathe fresh air in a contaminated atmosphere, after absorption of impurity of inhaled air by the chemicals filled in the canister . These are applicable for small leaks only. The gas mask incorporates exclusive design features conforming to IS : 8523 : 1977. Canister type respirators must never be used in atmosphere containing less than 16% oxygen.

This contains an airtight face piece, breathing tube and international colour coded canister. The CANISTERS are colour coded & Marked for different type of gases as under.

INSTANT AIR RESUSCITATOR

In accidents like inhalation of toxic fumes, electric shock, drowning, cardiac arrests, excessive bleeding etc., the central nervous system is profoundly and dangerously affected. At such times an Intermittent Positive Pressure Respirator is required to provide emergency relief.

They are designed for quick operation in emergency situations. Resuscitators are Portable, Easy to use, manufactured as per IS : 13366 : 1992 Specifications.

HOW TO USE:

1. Fix face Mask properly on victims mouth and Nose
2. Deflate the balloon with your every inspiration
3. Let balloon inflate while you inspire.

WIND SOCK*

This is available in 2 feet diameter and 6 feet length. Windsock comes with fixing arrangements and support stand for hoisting the windsock on round frame to the G.I pole with help of ball bearing assembly for easy movement of the windsock in the direction of the wind. Normally, it is located unhindered at the top of the building, for easy visibility.

Windsock is extremely useful for Petrochemicals, Refineries, Fertilizers Complex, Pharmaceuticals, Paper Mills, LPG Bottling plant and allied Industries for Indication of wind direction.

Incase of emergencies arising out of gas leakage in installed plant or any neighbouring plant, Windsock indicates the direction of the wind. The staff, workers, surrounding people should follow the direction of wind.

In case of fire the direction and flow of fire can be judged instantaneously, thereby helping firefighters to fights fire, saving lot of energy and quick fire stoppage.
